PMJDY, The flagship financial inclusion scheme of the government,aims to provide financial services,depositaccounts, remittances,credit,pension in an affordable manner and accident insurance to everyone.

Recently announced by Jaitley, There are 24cr Jandhan accounts and total Rs.42000cr have been deposited in them

Those 24cr accounts and mostly have people from weaker sections. Now those people have deposited Rs.42000cr in these accounts. The figure of Rs. 42000cr cannot be arrived at by adding Rs.1

It seek to wide range of spread of banking habit and can create credit histories of holders of account, So that government can facilitate to access overdraft or credit from banks.
