We all are aware that a terrorist attack took place in Nice, France. It was carried out in a very unusual manner. A truck driven by a terrorist ran over 84 people, killing them. It took place during the celebration of France(Bastille Day). When the attack took place people were enjoying fire show and bursting of crackers. More than 100 people got injured in this deadly attack because the terrorists also fired on them with guns. Within a short time, French police officials got control of the truck and killed the terrorist. This case was handed over to Anti Terrorist Squad of France.
According to the live sources, the truck entered the market with high speed and it also contained huge number of explosives and guns. This was a planned attack.
“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way, however it may be. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him.”
This statement was given by an ISIS militant, Adnani in September 2014.
After this attack the French President, Hollande, announced that the state of emergency will continue more for 90 days which started with Paris attacks in which more than 130 people were killed. The national Assembly of France had a voting session for this decision, which accepted the state of emergency to be increased by a huge margin of 489-26. This will become the second largest emergency period after the world war 2 . During his speech in the National Assembly of France Mr.Manuel Valls , The Prime Minister of France said that Attacks like November 13 Paris attack and The nice attack might happen in the future also, So overcome that attacks state of Emergency is being levied he said.
Some are thinking that this emergency situation may also be prolonged further.
