If your Windows-Pc/Laptop is really slow, you can follow these steps
1. Click on the start button (for PCs prior to Windows 7). Press the Windows key on keyboard(Windows 8 and above).
2. Now type in the box "services.msc". Remember you have to type this completely because you wont be prompted with any option.
3. Now right click on "services.msc" and select "Run as Administrator"
4. A new window will open with a lot of services running in the background.
5. You can see which services are running because it will be marked as "Running"
6. Search for the software, which you think might be running on startup and slowing down your PC/Laptop
7. Select that software. Right click and select "Properties"
8. A new window will appear. In the "Startup Type" dropdown box: Select "Manual"
9. Click "Apply" and then click "OK"
IMPORTANT NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU SELECT ONLY THAT SOFTWARE WHICH YOU HAVE INSTALLED ON YOUR OWN AND NOT ANY WINDOWS DEFAULT SOFTWARE
